I work with men and women who are exhausted from people pleasing, perfectionism, and an anxiety that never really switches off.
I have been there. And I know what it actually takes to shift these patterns — because I have done the work myself.
For a long time, I was you.
I spent years as a people pleaser and a perfectionist — anxious, burnt out, and constantly trying to prove myself. I convinced myself that if I just achieved enough, did enough, became enough, I would finally feel okay. But no matter what I achieved, the feeling never came. If anything, it got worse.
Everything shifted when I finally understood what was underneath all of it. The people pleasing, the perfectionism, the anxiety — they were not my personality. They were protective responses to something much deeper: my beliefs about my own worth. When I started working at that level, my symptoms did not just ease. They stopped making sense to keep.
That experience is what led me to train as a psychotherapist. And what I found, sitting with client after client, was the same pattern playing out in different lives.

That lived experience — alongside the clinical training — is what changes how I work. I am not just a therapist who has read about these things. I have been in that room myself.

Most people manage their symptoms for years without ever understanding where they came from. We go all the way back — to the beliefs that formed before you had any say — and then we work to change them.
I will tell you what I actually think. I am warm, but I will not just validate everything you say. That is not what helps. What helps is honesty — delivered with care.
CBT has a strong evidence base. I use it properly — not as a buzzword, but as a structured, practical framework that gives you real tools and real understanding.
