Self-worth is an important part of our mental health, because lacking self-worth means that we never feel good enough, despite our best efforts. You may be someone that worries about what others think about you, you may fear making mistakes, put pressure on yourself to please others, doubt yourself a lot of the time and you may hide parts of yourself away from the world. The behaviours that we subconsciously put in place as result of having low self-worth can leave us feeling exhausted, anxious, angry or depressed.
