Since I decided to focus on my self-worth instead of my symptoms, my life changed forever. The storm in my life cleared, the clouds disappeared, and I could finally see things clearly. I began to perceive myself differently and realised I had been living in fear my entire life. By prioritising my self-worth, I transformed my thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, becoming a version of myself I never knew existed.

But it hasn’t always been easy. I spent years battling both anxiety and depression, only to later realise I was also a perfectionist!

I had no clue what was happening to me. All I knew was I didn’t want to continue spending every day of my life feeling this way. I was exhausted from constantly feeling anxious, guilty, worried, and stressed. No matter what I did, it never felt like enough. My mind never switched off, and I was so unhappy.

I knew something needed to change, so I took matters into my own hands. With little support offered to me other than medication, I decided to truly learn about myself. I delved deep into understanding my mind and what was happening, and what I learned changed my entire life forever!

And then I trained as a psychotherapist so I could help others in the same way. This has become my life’s mission.
